These are the basics of the agreement between you and CareDocks. We’ll ship the long-form legal version alongside our public launch — for now, these are the commitments we want everyone to be able to read.
The deal
CareDocks is free for families who use it for personal caregiving. It is not free for organizations that use it commercially — those agreements are negotiated directly with our partnerships team.
We promise to keep the product running, your data safe, and your circles private. You promise to use it for legitimate caregiving — not to spam, harvest data, run scams, or otherwise harm the people in your circle.
What you keep
Your data is yours. You can export it any time, you can delete your account, and we won’t make either step difficult.
What we provide
The product as it exists today — calendar, messages, updates, care notes. We add features as we learn from circles using the product. We don’t guarantee any specific feature will exist forever, but we will give meaningful notice before removing something families rely on.
What CareDocks is not
CareDocks is not a replacement for clinical care, emergency services, or professional medical advice. If someone is in danger, call your local emergency number first. CareDocks is the warm coordination layer around real care — not the care itself.
Things change
We update these terms occasionally. Material changes get an email — not a buried changelog. If you keep using the product after a change, you’re agreeing to the updated version.
